Meet Jojo – A Smart, Loyal Companion Looking for Her Perfect Match! Jojo is a well-trained, loving dog who’s looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can truly thrive. She’s crate trained, completely housebroken, never has accidents in the house and doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t. Jojo knows a long list of basic commands including sit, down, up, rollover, and paw. She plays fetch, walks calmly on leash without pulling, and is great off-leash too. Jojo can be reactive when meeting new people, especially in unfamiliar situations, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she becomes incredibly affectionate. She loves to cuddle, snuggle up next to you, and will happily climb into your lap if you let her. She bonds deeply with her people and becomes a loving, loyal companion. We believe Jojo may be a Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, based on her appearance and many of her personality traits, including her alertness, energy, and independence. However, no DNA test has been performed to confirm this. She’s currently used to three walks a day and would thrive in a home with either an active owner or a fenced backyard where she can play and explore. Jojo does best in a home without young children or cats, but she typically gets along well with other dogs when properly introduced. Jojo is currently staying with a kind neighbor family (alongside their dog), but they can’t keep her long-term—so she’s looking for her forever home. If you’re patient, dog-savvy, and looking for a lovable, well-trained dog who will adore you once she settles in, Jojo might be the perfect fit for you!
