My story

*Meet Sandie!! On 05/27/2025, Sandie was found near the cemetery by our shelter—abandoned, covered in ant bites, and desperately hungry. With patience, love, and food, our kind staff was able to resuce her! 3 days trying to catch her, she didn`t know how to trust us, but as soon as we got the leash around her, you could only see the relief she felt. Only 2 hours of having her and she was so happy that she was even asking for bellyrubs! At only six months old, she had already endured more than any puppy should. But just like the movie Annie, our sweet Sandie is proof that even the ruffest beginnings can lead to a happy ending. She may have started out as a stray, but she’s holding out for her own “tomorrow”—filled with belly rubs, warm beds, and unconditional love. Since arriving, she’s been healing quickly—soaking up every bit of kindness, food, and care we can give her. She’s gentle, affectionate, and already showing how much love she has to give. Now, Sandie is ready for her next chapter: a forever home where she’ll never feel alone again.
