My story

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!   Hi fwiends... my name is Claudine, but you can call me Claudi! I’m a 4-year-old terrier/pit/lab mix (I’m a mystery mutt masterpiece!), and I'm the sweetest, silliest, most snuggly girl you could ever meet! I’m what humans call a “turnkey dog”—which I think means I’m ready to move in and fill your home with love RIGHT AWAY! I’m super chill at home (I love cozy naps on the couch or in your bed), but when it's time for a walk, I get SO excited! I walk really well on a leash, and I’d LOVE a family who takes me on fun adventures… or even just to the grocery store (I did great there!). Elevators? Baths? Car rides? Storms?? Pshhh—no big deal! I’m potty trained, house trained, and super respectful of your furniture (I promise I won’t chew it!). I love other doggy friends, big and small, and I do amazing with kids too! I’m very gentle with treats, super quiet (rarely bark!), and just want to be near you and soak up all the love. I’m still learning some basic commands (and how not to get under your feet), but I’m really smart and eager to please. I can be a teensy bit shy meeting new people—but if you help guide me and let me warm up at my own pace, I’ll be your best friend forever. I'd thrive with a family, a couple, or even a single dog lover who wants a loyal shadow with four paws. Just maybe keep an eye out so I don’t trip you while being your snuggly sidekick! A word from my foster: “Claudine is such a gift. She’s gentle, loving, calm, smart, and absolutely beautiful. She transitions so easily into a home and truly just wants to love and be loved. Whoever adopts her will be very lucky.” Adoption FEE: $0 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
