What our friends at OHS say about us:Nice to meet you! We're Murphy (10-year-old neutered male Lhasa Apso mix) and Cooper (8-year-old neutered male Mini Pinscher mix). We are bonded and must go home together, but our adoption fee includes both of us!We came to OHS through the Friends Forever Program.We are social guys! We have lived with dogs and cats and love being a part of the action. We really enjoy the company of our human friends!We love to learn! You can use our favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach us new things.Shy and Nervous: Cooper can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. He prefers to take things at his own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.We can be sensitive to handling, which includes but is not limited to medical/grooming and restraint. We will need someone who can offer some guidance and extra patience in these situations!Resource Guarding: Murphy has a history of guarding food and toys from other animals.Cooper has chronic skin issues which will require long term management. It can be caused by different factors such as fleas, food or environmental factors.Cooper has been diagnosed with dental disease which means he may need dental cleanings or extractions in the future.House Training: We have a history of housetraining struggles.The type of home we're looking for:Murphy will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.It could be with you!
