My story

Hi, I’m Toby — a certified lap cat and full-time cuddle expert.If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate buddy who loves being held, I’m your guy. I could spend all day curled up in your arms, soaking up pets and giving you sweet little kisses in return. I bring calm and charm wherever I go—unless it’s mealtime. Then things get serious.I love to play—teaser toys, spring toys, tunnels—you name it. I have a blast chasing my littermates and zipping around, but I’m a pretty laid-back guy overall…until food shows up. Let’s just say I’ve got strong feelings about sharing, and I’m not afraid to growl a little to protect my bowl.If you’re searching for a loving, playful companion with a big heart (and some strong food boundaries), I’d love to be your new best friend.Toby siblings are Buddy, Fudge, Gizmo and Ozzy.Almost Home adopts kittens under 6 months of age in pairs, as kittens that young are not fully socialized and need a same/similar-age playmate in order not to become a nuisance to family members—including other pets in the home. Adopting kittens in pairs allows them to complete the kitty socialization process, learn good kitty manners, and have a playmate so their humans can sleep at night.
