My story

Ruth Anne is a Miniature Poodle, 2 years old & 9 pounds of lively, smart, cuddly sweetness. She is house trained & crate trained, does well in doggy daycare, & enjoys playing with easygoing small dogs. She likes learning, knows many training cues, & is good at solving doggy puzzles. Ruth Anne is on a small dose of Prozac for excitement, which you could choose to continue or not. She does bark & vocalize, out of excitement, when she sees other dogs while walking or in the car. She is non-aggressive. Given her vocal ways, she will do best with adopters who plan to use their yard for her outdoor time, or who live in an area where she won’t be exposed to many dogs while out & about, or who are interested in further training.. I am spayed, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. I come with my own bed, toys, leashes, and crate. My adoption fee is $450. I do currently take a tiny dose of Prozac, for my excitement. It is inexpensive and you can decide if you think it is needed it If I come to live with you. A great home for Ruth Anne and her must haves include: 1. An owned or stable renter home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Folks who are around a lot; I do fine at home on my own, I just prefer the company of my people. 3. Adopters who will give me the exercise that every dog loves and needs: playing in the yard, walking. 4. Another small dog that is easygoing would be icing on my cake. Older kids with great dog manners would also be fun. 5. People who know the cost of grooming and are prepared for that. 6. Adopters who can handle my excited vocalizations whether that is by additional force free training/structure, or keeping me from seeing unknown dogs, in a nice home and yard. If you meet all the above criteria, and you are interested in Ruth Anne, please either inquire or apply. To inquire, email: awoofovermyhead@gmail.com with "Ruth Anne" in the subject line. Tell us a bit about you and how this little nugget will fit into your life. Please leave a phone number and we will call you within a day or two, max. To apply, please complete the application using a computer or a tablet Please answer all questions thoroughly and with detail. Non-smoking homes only, please.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ruth Anne, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
