My story

Hello! It's nice to meet you. My name is Casella, and I am a three-year-old torbie female. I’ve been hanging around Stray Haven for a while and was given the nickname “Garage cat” as I usually liked to hang out in their garage. The staff would leave food and water out for me and try to socialize with me, but I usually scurried away. Sooner or later they were able to get me inside and discovered I was pregnant! I ended up having my babies in the shelter, which was a blessing because the staff was incredibly helpful in taking care of me and my babies. I’ve spent some time in foster care to learn that some people aren’t as scary as I thought they could be, and now I’m back at the shelter and ready to find my forever home!I am still a pretty shy kitty, so I would need to find a home that is patient with me and understands that I need my personal space. Younger kids make me nervous, so I would do best in a home with older children or no children.
