My story

Meet Flip! 🐾 Flip is a playful, energetic girl with a heart full of curiosity and a growing love for affection. She’s a perfect medium size and always ready for an adventure—whether it's a game of fetch, a good zoomie session in the yard, or hitting the trail to sniff all the things. She’s easy to leash and handle, and while she can pull a bit when excited, she’s very manageable and just eager to explore the world around her. Flip can be a little shy at first, especially with new people or fast movements—she flinched when a volunteer reached out to pet her, but quickly settled in and accepted the love. With a gentle approach and a little patience, she’s showing more and more trust each day. She’s not overly treat- or cuddle-motivated (yet!), but she lights up when it’s time to run and play. Flip is looking for a home that understands her need for both fun and kindness, where she can build confidence and continue blossoming into the amazing companion we know she is. Come meet her—you just might fall in love with her flip side. 💛 As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
