My story

Rita – The Quiet CuddlerHi, I’m Rita, a soft little tabby girl with a shy soul and a very big heart. I love playing with my brother Rico and our foster cat buddy, Bud. One of our favorite games is hiding under blankets and pouncing on each other—it`s hilarious every time!Even though I can be a little skittish, especially if you move too quickly, I love gentle pets and scratches—especially right after my nap. If you’re really lucky, I’ll snuggle right up to you early in the morning and let you hear my quiet little purr. I also have a thing for felt catnip toys... they’re the best.I eat like a champ, use my litter box like a pro, and I’m slowly learning that humans are pretty great. With some patience and kindness, I’ll be your most loyal, loving girl.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
