My story

Meet Nugget, a 2-year-old French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Originally surrendered to Big Dog Ranch when his previous owner could no longer manage his health needs, Nugget has had a bumpy start but is full of potential in the right hands. This little guy is high energy, playful, and full of life. He loves to cuddle, splash in water, and carry his favorite toys around the house. Nugget is also good with other dogs and does well with kids, making him a fun and affectionate companion. That said, Nugget comes with some special considerations. He is currently heartworm positive, suffers from skin issues and hair loss, and has not yet been housetrained—factors that contributed to his return after an initial adoption. For this reason, he will do best in a home with an adopter who has prior dog experience, especially someone familiar with caring for dogs with medical or behavioral needs. Nugget is good on a leash, and his small size and adaptable nature make him a good candidate for apartment or condo living, provided his adopter is committed to helping him with consistent potty training and ongoing medical care.
