Just minutes from being out of time, this brindle beauty was rescued, and his second chance began.Ember (affectionately known as Bear or Care Bear) is the very definition of a gentle soul. When he first arrived, he was scared of everything—leashes, collars, people. But with patience and love, he blossomed. Now, he wears his harness with quiet confidence and walks on a leash like a pro. He’s gone from trembling in fear to quietly leaning against his foster mom for comfort.This sweet boy is crate trained, fully house trained (not a single accident!), and incredibly low energy. He’s not one for zoomies or chaos—Ember’s favorite activity is simply being next to his human. He’s happiest when he has a calm companion, whether that’s another dog or someone who works from home and can spend time with him. He does have a touch of separation anxiety, but honestly, it’s just because he loves so deeply.Ember gets along beautifully with kids of all ages and is a peaceful presence in the home.
