Vander

My story

Vander absolutely LOVES everyone he meets and is an overall happy guy. Vander was deemed unworthy and tossed aside, he was found with most of his fur missing from a flea allergy, underweight and hungry. Despite all of this, his tail wagged and he was visibly grateful for being saved! Vander is now ready for the next chapter in his life and is looking for a family to help him transition. He walks well on a leash, although he likes to stop and give you hugs periodically. He is not a hyper "jumper", he simply stands on his hind legs and gently puts his front legs on you to let you know he is happy and grateful. He is a sweet and GENTLE boy. When approached, he instinctively goes into the submissive position, he has obviously had some previous history with people that wasn't so great. This wonderful boy will bring a family years of unconditional love. We do not know if he is house trained, we don't know that he has ever known a true family. Vander has been introduced to multiple dogs, he has done well with most everyone, he has gotten along with male and female dogs if they aren't overly dominant. He is currently has a female playmate that he is happy with. He does not like to be alone, whether it be people or a friend, he craves to have companionship. If you have love to give and a little time, this handsome boy will reward you with unconditional love.
