My story

*** Basil, Bud, Aster, Poppy & Iris are at our Petsmart Encinitas adoption center. ***Basil #19583: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born 2/25/25 (white locket)Bud #19584: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born 2/25/25Aster #19586: black & white tuxedo, short hair, neutered male, born 2/25/25Poppy #19587: solid black, short hair, spayed female, born 2/25/25 (white locket)Iris #19288: solid black, short hair, spayed female, born 2/25/25 (white locket/belly)Cats: LOVE friends & playmates!Dogs: goodChildren: all agesBACKGROUND: Blossom was heavily pregnant when she found herself at a shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia; she transferred to The Rescue House and soon gave birth to these six cuties! They grew up in foster care knowing human love from day one.PERSONALITY: The kittens took their cues from their relaxed-natured mother and have a similar approach to life. They like to be petted and snuggled and are very affectionate. That said, they must have decided pollinators also have it right, because when they are not tuckered out they are busy as bees! They run and wrestle and chase each other around in a madcap race with rules only they understand. Toys are always welcome and feature heavily in their games. When it’s time for a nap, they pile into a good laundry basket as well as onto dresser shelves.COMPATIBILITY: The kittens get along fabulously with each other and have never known life without built-in buddies. We strongly recommend adopting two or having a resident cat willing to join in the fun of busy kitten energy. They are comfortable with cat-friendly dogs and do well with gentle children who understand how to handle small animals.These adorable flowers and herbs are ready to bring a smile to your face every day!
