My story

Aleigh is a sweet, goofy girl who’s ready to start her next big adventure—maybe with you! This beautiful retriever/lab mix was found running astray in Gulfport, without a collar or tags, but with a microchip that gave us hope she had a family out there. Sadly, despite every effort to contact her previous owner, no one ever came forward. Now, Aleigh is embracing a fresh start and can’t wait to meet her forever family! True to her lab roots, Aleigh is playful, smart, and full of life. She loves squeaky toys, belly rubs, and a good game of fetch—or keep away if she’s feeling especially silly! Sunshine strolls are her jam, and she walks beautifully on a leash, strutting her stuff with pride. Aleigh is also one smart cookie! She already knows “sit” and “paw,” and she’s eager to learn more—especially if treats are involved. Training this girl is a breeze thanks to her intelligence and desire to please. Aleigh enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to meet any future furry siblings to make sure it’s a great match for everyone. She’s up to date on vaccines, fully vetted, will be spayed upon adoption (if not already), and—bonus—she’s heartworm negative! Aleigh has waited patiently for someone to see just how special she is.
