Darby

My story

Darby will grab your attention with her beautiful locks of hair and sweet eyes. We are not sure of her origins, but it does seem like a lot of things are new experiences for her. Darby would benefit from having a patient person to help her navigate all these new experiences. She is slowly making friends with us and does not seem mind being around other social dogs. That is something that seems to help relax her. Darby also loves a nice kiddie pool of water and will take regular breaks in them when we are out in the yard with her. We are seeing her come out of her shell more every day as she gets used to our routines. She is still figuring out what a leash is for so would benefit from having a fenced yard that she could go to for her outings. Our volunteers enjoy sitting with her to read a book or listen to some relaxing music. If you are looking for a dog to build a relationship with, Darby might be the one for you!
