Serene, Genial, Adorable Please give a Texas-sized welcome to Marlowe, a recent mom ready for relaxation and a loving furever home. If you look up "calm" in the dictionary, you could very well find a picture of stunning Marlowe. This gorgeous gal is chill to the max. She's so laid-back that her foster describes one of her favorite activities as "sitting near you and just vibing." Another favorite activity? Doing her best loaf impression. Marlowe is an expert lounger and will encourage you to join her for some quality r & r time. During this time she will advocate for belly rubs and encourage full-body pets. Marlowe is a very chatty girl. Whether purrs of pleasure after a good body rub or meows requesting her favored wet food, Marlowe is not shy about letting her feelings known. Sometimes she'll even just ask about your day as you sit next to her on the couch and catch up on television. Although she does believe that snacks should be shared, so be prepared for that or you may receive some chirps of displeasure. In opposition to her vocalization level is her level of general activity or play. Too cool to chase things, Marlowe can be enticed into a little playtime if you bring a toy directly to her. She's not lazy. She just really enjoys hanging out and sees it as a totally valid way to spend her time. Her ideal home is one where Marlowe can just chill out and not be forced to engage too much.
