My story

Meet Blackbird! Blackbird came to us from the San Diego Humane Society in Escondido on May 31st. She is 10 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Just a day after becoming a Frosted Face, Blackbird was chosen to go on a two-week Frosted Fling. Her Fling Mom shared this wonderful update: "Birdie is the full package! She has been an absolute delight to foster. Here's what we've learned about her in during the first week of our fling: ✔️ dog, cat, & kid friendly ✔️ potty trained ✔️ sleeps through the night ✔️ great on a leash and has youthful stamina ✔️ NO separation anxiety ✔️ loves cuddles and being held ✔️ quite...rarely barks, maybe 3x in 5 days. ✔️ she'll be your shadow. Loves to follow her person, but not in a needy way. ✔️ eats wet food - she's a bit short on teeth. ✔️ starting to play with toys! Birdie does get a bit anxious in the car, but when we went from San Diego to Lake Arrowhead, she did well being held." To meet Blackbird, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
