My story

Hi, I’m Castiel! I’m a 2 year-old Beagle boy, weighing about 17 pounds, with a beautiful tri-color coat. My brothers and I were surrendered to a shelter after our owner passed away — it was a tough change for all of us. I’m a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I’m all wagging tail and friendly greetings. I was kept outdoors before the shelter took my brothers and me in so I never lived indoors until now. Wow, what a change of scenery! Initially, I was hesitant but with a little encouragement from my foster family, I’m getting the hang of the whole living inside thing. I’m a picky eater and haven’t quite learned the whole housetraining thing yet. I’ve met some cats around here. I’m usually a bit scared or I keep my distance, and sometimes I bark at them if they give me “Cattitude.” Sometimes, I just want some personal space. I’m actually pretty cool with cats but I really prefer to hang out with my dog buddies. Oh, and I love car rides — they make me happy! By the way, my brother Sam is also looking for a forever home.
