Shadow

My story

Shadow is a playful, protective, happy and passive lap dog. A true Rottie gentleman. He will bark for attention or play the role of paw patrol when watching people pass by and let you know with a bark. He has no triggers and trains well with treats. He likes to vocalize with his Rottie purr. He is happiest when outside playing with his person, children and other dogs. Shadow is up to date on rabies, distemper/parvovirus, bordatella vaccines and in April 2025 tested heart worm negative. He did well with the vet. He is due for a fecal test. Notes from evaluator: He is placeable and would show immediate attention and affection to whomever is willing to spend time with him. Dedicated and full of energy with desire to play. Notes from evaluator: He is happy and wants attention/affection. He wants to jump and play but does not realize his size. He does not show aggression to other dogs, current home has another dog that does not get along with Shadow, they fear Shadow would get hurt in a fight . Shadow has a great temperament and just needs controlled diet to help get his weight down. He is very placeable and would show immediate attention and affection to whomever is willing to spend time with him. Dedicated and full of energy with desire to play. Shadow will chase a toy but will not retrieve; he wants to play and just gets his attention diverted easily. He loves treats and you can easily hand feed him. He knows sit, stay, shake, down and no so has learned several commands. The current family has a male child that has been very close with Shadow. He wants to play with both male and female dogs with no problems.
