My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:2Discovery is a gentle soul with soft eyes and a quietly affectionate nature. At 3 years old and 49 pounds, she walks beautifully on leash—checking in with her handler, staying close, and often brushing her head gently against your legs as if to say, "I'm with you." She's attentive and observant, calmly taking in the world around her. Though her tail stays low and she's alert to sounds, Discovery seeks comfort in human connection. She loves snuggling in close, soaking up neck rubs, and leaning in with quiet trust.
