My story

Introducing Mikey! He was brought to the shelter on 5/30 because his former pet parent was moving and couldn't bring him along. Mikey is only a year old and weighs a mere 78lbs. The volunteers describe him as extremely sweet, cute, and obedient. He is a good boy and cute as can be. He is a smart young man as he knows how to sit when asked, good on a leash, as well as house trained, dog friendly, and great kids. What more could you ask for? Please take some time and visit with him in Run 84; his ID is 10157. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Please make sure you have the time, space, patience, and lifestyle to ensure Mikey has the best life possible. Mikey is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Mikey is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
