My story

PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO Givenchy is a 10-year-old French Bulldog with the looks of a supermodel and the attitude of a seasoned bouncer. He’s currently crashing with a loving foster family, but he’s officially on the hunt for his forever home—and not just any home. This guy is looking for that just-right mix of snuggles, structure, and someone who isn’t afraid to call him out when he’s getting a little too full of himself. In short: bulldog experience is not a suggestion—it’s a requirement. Givenchy is the total package: he’s potty trained, loves to be near his person (we’re talking velcro-dog status), and doesn’t need a ton of exercise. A short walk here, a little basketball-chasing there, and he’s good for the day. He also has a soft spot for toys and cozy lounging. But—and this is a big BUT—he’s not the kind of dog who will just go with the flow. He’s got opinions. He’s protective of his person (especially around beds—he takes bedtime very seriously), is currently being crate trained and is doing well. If given the chance, he’ll take over like he’s CEO of the household. That’s why he needs someone who’s confident, consistent, and ready to lovingly—but firmly—set the rules. He’s currently dining like a king on FreshPet with a bit of kibble, and he’s being treated for Lyme disease, which isn’t slowing him down one bit. He travels great in the car, enjoys short adventures, and is always down to be your shadow. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who also brings a bit of comedic bulldog chaos to the table, Givenchy is your guy. Now, let’s talk non-negotiables: Givenchy needs a calm, quiet home with no small children and no cats. He might be okay with another mellow dog, but in a perfect world, he’d like to be your one and only. Because of a past back surgery, a home with little to no stairs would be preferred. And most importantly, his person must understand bulldogs—their quirks, their stubbornness, and their heart-of-gold loyalty when they know they can trust you. Givenchy’s foster mom is happy to answer questions and will be totally honest about his personality and needs. He’s not for everyone—but if you’re bulldog-savvy and appreciate a dog with a little sass and a lot of soul, he might just be your new best friend. Going forward we will collect payment when the dog is transferred to the potential new owner and will be held for an agreed upon trial time.
