My story

At just 12 weeks old, Cadbury is already melting hearts like her chocolatey namesake. The biggest of her siblings and proud of it, she’s a perfect mix of Chihuahua and rat terrier—small enough to fit in your lap, but full of personality that fills the room. Cadbury is playful, smart, and sweet with a dash of mischief—just the right amount to keep you smiling. She’s inherited all the best traits from her breeds without the notorious Chihuahua sass. With an expected adult weight under 20 pounds, she’s the perfect pint-sized companion for cuddle sessions, park strolls, and everything in between. When she’s ready to nap she will always find your lap.  Ready to add a little sweetness to your life? Cadbury is crate-trained, full of love, and waiting to hop into her forever home. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
