My story

Sweet Starla had a rough start in life. She came to us from the Rio Grande Valley with a broken pelvis, likely hit by a car. She was also heartworm positive. She's healed from the surgery for her pelvis and has received meds for her heartworms. Starla is just over a year old and ready for her furever home. She weighs 10 pounds. Starla is very timid so needs a quiet home with no small kids and she's good with other dogs. Adoption fee is: $450 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
