My story

When we arrived at county to rescue a group of dogs in need, we learned they hadn’t come in alone. Among them was Delilah—a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix with the kindest eyes and the sweetest soul. One look at her, and we knew she was coming with us too. Delilah may be small, but her heart is huge. She’s gentle, affectionate, and easy to love. Whether she’s curled up beside you or quietly following you from room to room, she simply wants to be near her people. Her calm nature and loving spirit make her the perfect little companion. Now that she’s safe and settling into sanctuary life, Delilah is ready to find her forever family—one that will cherish her for the gem she is.
