My story

Joey is stuck in limbo — and he needs your help. When animal control found Joey, he was chained to a washing machine. That’s not a metaphor. That’s where he lived — alone, forgotten, discarded like the appliance he was tethered to. He was seized and taken to the shelter, and we agreed to take him into our rescue. But right now, Joey’s still waiting… because we don’t have a foster for him yet. Joey is a young adult Doberman with natural ears and a waggy tail that’s just waiting to show you how happy it could be. He’s been neutered and had his first vaccinations. He’s done well with other dogs, passed his cat test like a gentleman, and most importantly — he adores people. Joey is sweet, loving, playful, and absolutely ready to be someone’s best friend. Joey can be a foster-to-adopt, but no matter what, he needs a foster home first until he can be seen by our vet. Please — help us rewrite the rest of Joey’s story.
