My story

Meet Bugsy, the sweet and playful mixed breed with a heart full of love! Weighing in at 50 lbs, Bugsy is an adorable young boy who’s looking for his forever family. He has a special love for his blue ball, and it’ll be coming with him to his new home. Though he can be a little shy when meeting new faces, Bugsy quickly warms up—especially when treats are involved! Bugsy wasn’t fully socialized as a puppy, so he’ll need a patient family to help him learn to trust again. He’s making great progress and is already doing well in public. His foster dad reports that Bugsy is learning to gently accept treats from strangers, though he can still be a bit nervous around new people. With time and understanding, Bugsy is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Bugsy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even comfortable sharing space with his foster dad’s cat.
