Hotteok is about 8months old, 13kg, Spayed female, Jindo mix. Hotteok is incredibly affectionate and friendly—not just with people she knows, but also with strangers. She eagerly approaches people, rubs against them, and enjoys being touched. She has absolutely no fear of unfamiliar people and is extremely charming and loving. She loves both men and women and will even show her belly to strangers. She can be picked up easily by placing arms under her belly. Hotteok is very gentle with children under 13, and her lack of fear or defensiveness makes her an excellent fit for families with young kids. Her sociability extends to other dogs as well. She confidently greets both familiar and unfamiliar dogs and invites them to play. Her social skills are so strong that she has even served as a “helper dog” for dogs who are shy or less confident. She plays well with dogs of all sizes but tends to prefer those around her own size. She adjusts her play style smartly—even with rough or high-energy dogs, she knows how to take turns and keep things fun. After a good play session, she also enjoys quiet time alone, so she would be fine in a home without other dogs too. Hotteok has lived with a cat and was curious and playful, wanting to interact without showing aggression. She has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and plays actively with dog friends, but knows how to calm down and relax afterward. During play, she is very enthusiastic, and when it’s over, she rests peacefully on her own. As a curious young dog, she sometimes pulls on the leash in the direction she wants to go. However, she generally follows people well and walks calmly, even near busy roads or in noisy environments. Hotteok shows no signs of food guarding, either with people or other dogs. When sharing treats with other dogs, she waits her turn patiently and never tries to take what’s not hers. She doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety and rarely barks. She is calm in a kennel and rides well in the car. She generally prefers to go to the bathroom outdoors. Hotteok was rescued after being spotted dangerously crossing a large intersection. Locals said she had been raised as a puppy in an office but was abandoned when the people moved away, leaving her behind.
