My story

Meet Seymour! Seymour is one of two dogs that were rescued from an extended stay motel that was closed down after a human trafficking sting. Both dogs were absolutely terrified in the shelter but have come so so far in their foster homes  Seymour is 2-3 years old and under 15 lbs. We aren't totally certain of his breed but he appears to be some sort of American Eskimo/Pomeranian/Spitz type mix - he's absolutely adorable! Seymour has made great strides with his foster mom and is now showing his loving and goofy personality. He is still a bit shy with strangers though, so he will need a patient adopter willing to give him time to settle in and get comfortable. We have also just discovered that he is also absolutely terrified of men, so while we are working with him on that at this time he is only available for adoption into female only homes that have another confident dog.  As is extremely common with the dogs we rescue, Seymour did test positive for heartworm disease. RMG utilizes a slow kill method of treatment and all medications for the treatment are provided. Typically there are no lasting health issues after successful treatment.   Interested in adopting? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org ##2417545##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Seymour, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
