Minnow is 15 weeks old today and weighs just 5.05 lbs! This tiny girl is the ultimate snuggle bug—she’s always ready to curl up in your arms the moment you sit down. Don’t let her small size fool you—Minnow is full of personality and has no problem being the boss, even around dogs much bigger than she is! She would love to have a canine companion in her forever home, as long as they’re okay with her adorable, sassy attitude. Minnow is doing good with potty training and does fantastic in her crate. According to Wisdom Panel, Minnow is 89% French Bulldog, 6% Pekingese, 3% Bulldog and 2% Shih Tzu. She has a cleft lip and cleft palate. She drinks from a special water bottle and can only eat hard kibble. Kibble will occasionally get stuck in her open palate so her foster family has to remove it at the end of the day if it hasn’t come out on its own. Although she hates it, her new family has to be ok doing this. Due to her small size, we will not be placing her in a home with children under the age of 16 and with dogs over 25 lbs. French Bulldog or breeds with Brachycephalic breed experience is preferred. If you she interested in adopting Minnow, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org When filling out the application please acknowledge that you understand what a cleft palate and cleft lip means for Minnow. *The rescue will be spaying her when she is older. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2372695##
