My story

Hi there! My name is Crackle. I’m a cute, playful tabby kitten with adorable stripes and the cutest white toes. I’m full of energy, love, and snuggles, and I’m hoping to find a very special family who understands just how awesome I am. You see, I tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). This virus can be passed from a mama cat to her kittens at birth, and while it might sound a little scary at first, let me explain what it really means. There are actually different kinds of FeLV infections: -Some kitties clear the virus on their own and eventually test negative. -Others carry the virus for life but stay healthy for many years or even forever. -And some may develop illness more quickly and need extra care. The truth is, there’s no way to know right now which path my journey will take. But what I do know is that I feel great right now—I’m active, happy, and full of kitten curiosity. I love toys, soft beds, being pet, and soaking up all the love I can get. Because FeLV can be passed to other cats through close contact, I need to go to a home where I’m the only cat or where any other kitties are also FeLV-positive like me. I promise I’ll be the best little buddy you could ever ask for, filling your home with warmth, purrs, and snuggles. My future family should be informed and ready to support me if I ever need extra care. I might need help if I get sick one day, and I’ll be counting on you to be there for me. But for now?
