My story

Hi there! My name is Snap. I’m a cute, playful black kitten with an adorable little white spot on my lip. I’m full of energy, love, and snuggles. I’m hoping to find a very special family who understands just how awesome I am. You see, I tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). This virus can be passed from a mama cat to her kittens at birth, and while it might sound a little scary at first, let me explain what it really means. There are actually different kinds of FeLV infections: -Some kitties clear the virus on their own and eventually test negative. -Others carry the virus for life but stay healthy for many years—or even forever. -And some may develop illness more quickly and need extra care. The truth is, there’s no way to know right now which path my journey will take. What I do know is that I feel great right now—I’m active, happy, and full of kitten curiosity. I love toys, soft beds, getting pet, and soaking up all the love I can get. Because FeLV can spread to other cats through close contact, I can only go to a home where I’ll be the only cat or where any feline friends I have are also FeLV-positive like me. I promise I’ll be the best little buddy you could ask for, filling your home with warmth, purrs, and playful mischief. My future family should be informed and prepared to provide whatever care I may need in the future. I might need some extra help if I ever get sick, and I’m counting on you to be there for me when that time comes. But for now? I’m just a normal kitten, living my best life and looking for love.
