Name: Rainy Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair  Best Guess for Age: 3.5 years (Est. DOB: 11/29/21)  Sex: Female Approximate Weight: 7.2lbs Coloring: Gray and White Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With:  With proper integration, Rainy will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period. We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at:  Shelter...coming to DC area soon! What the Shelter Says About Me:  Rainy came into her original rescue with a badly damaged eye from previous upper respiratory infection. Rainy healed well from her eye removal surgery and is getting along just fine with her one beautiful eye. Rain was a great mother to her own 2 kittens and has gracefully accepted helping foster 3 more (weaned kittens).  Rainy is pretty much playing the role of auntie... being there in case someone gets into a jam, and ignoring them when the kittens crawl on her or chase her tail.  She sometimes seeks peace and solitude in her favorite box.  Per her foster mom - Rainy is the easiest and most calm foster for her thus far!  Rainy is reserved, neat, calm and quiet - is so sweet, and likes affection.  'She loves to sit in my lap, and after some good face and chin rubs and back scratches, will purr very softly.'  Even in a different environment and situation, Rainy accepted the photographer/paparazzi's attention calmly and with dignity.  I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Rainy, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much - just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What My Foster Says About Me:  Coming soon!
