My story

Dara is a friendly and affectionate 2-year-old girl with a heart full of love and a tail that’s always ready to wag! She’s got a happy energy, a gentle nature, and absolutely adores cuddling. Whether she’s showing off her “sit” or leaning in for some snuggles, Dara is always looking for ways to connect with her people. While she’s doing her best, shelter life is starting to take a toll on this sweet girl. What she really needs is a loving home where she can relax, feel safe, and let her true personality shine. Dara would thrive with a family who can help channel her enthusiasm and continue guiding her as she learns to be the best version of herself. Dara is so ready to bust out of the shelter for good and start her forever with someone who sees just how special she is. Dara would love to meet any potential canine siblings! Our staff will carefully handle all dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter to ensure a great match. Feel free to bring your pup along when you come to meet her!Dara is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready for her forever home!Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
