My story

Meet Bright, a 3 year old English Bulldog or call her a house hippo or a potato, none of the above are wrong! Bright will fill your day with hilarious attitude, bulldog snoring and lots of snuggles. She spends her day rotating through snoozing spots - the couch, the dog bed, your lap, a sunny spot on the deck - you name it, she can sleep there! When not sleeping, she likes to wander the yard, check out what everyone is doing and roll around on her back while growling and barking at herself. She has some very unique growls and noises that make her a hoot. Bright is excellent with other dogs. She will either interact appropriately or just ignore them, depending on her mood. She is also great with kids. Bright is a champ in her kennel, as long as you are patient while she sloooowly saunters over to it. She sleeps in there at night and also does well when in it during the day when people are around. She rides well in the car and walks great on a leash with minimal pulling. She is passionate about food so we have chosen to feed her separately from our dog. With work on appropriate boundaries, this probably wouldn’t be needed long term. Potty training is a work in progress. She has improved significantly while in her foster home. She does willingly wear a diaper indoors until she has mastered potty training. Bright looks forward to meeting her forever family and filling their home with love and laughter!
