My story

Meet Boomer, a 4-year-old Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! Boomer came to us with a condition called luxating patella, where both of his kneecaps occasionally slip out of place. While this is common in small breeds and isn’t currently affecting his mobility, it’s something to monitor as it may lead to arthritis over time. Keeping Boomer at a healthy weight and limiting high-impact activity will help keep him feeling his best. Despite his wobbly knees, Boomer is full of charm and affection. He’s super sweet, loves gentle pets, and thrives on human companionship. Boomer is ready to find a loving home that will give him the care he needs and all the cuddles he deserves!
