My story

This is ROSCOE, and his name fits his appearance! He is very spunky, but he does not let his guard down. He must hang out with you for about 10 minutes before he even smells your hand. Roscoe was dumped on the side of the road when he was about 6 weeks old, in Oklahoma and that is how we found him. He likes to dig to get out of the fence, only to take a stroll in the neighborhood. He is up to date on vaccines. Roscoe is neutered, and he does have a microchip. Roscoe is very energetic and loves to run. I am unable to walk with him on a leash, but he needs a big yard. He loves when we ask him to sit or shake as he loves the treats and the attention. He is good with other dogs but not as good with cats. He requires a lot of exercise, and I think he is more of a hunting dog. He loves to run after something that is thrown in the yard. He is an outside dog, but he loves to lay his head in your lap. Roscoe is not crate trained, and he is an outside dog. He is a very smart dog; he will just sit/lay by my side if I have company over. He does follow commands like â&#194&#128&#194&#156sitâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 and â&#194&#128&#194&#156shakeâ&#194&#128&#194&#157, as he loves treats. He is great with older kids; he will jump on small children. We are desperately looking for a â&#194&#128&#194&#156foreverâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 home for Roscoe. He is left alone for about 12 hours a day, so he is getting bored, and he starts to chew on things. He has chewed through our fence, and he will get out and run loose in the neighborhood. He is just a happy dog that has so much love to give and needs a big yard to get his energy out.
