Name:  Betty          Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd mix Best Guess for Age:  1.5 years as of June 2025        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:   46 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here!   Betty is Looking For:  Her forever family! She's got all that awesome dog energy and is eager to have her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and world exploration. She'd love to make pup pals along the way, too. Quality kibble, cushy dog beds, peanut butter-filled Kongs - yes, please!   But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to know she's safe and loved for all her days. She promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship in return - and to always make you smile. What do you say? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has spent some time in foster care.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
