Sassafras

My story

Sassafras is a 10-month-old cattle dog mix that loves to run and play! She is a sweet girl but will need someone that has Cattle dog experience. True to her breed she does try to `herd` and due to this she will need a home with older children. Sassafras is still a puppy and will need someone that understands the time and patience that goes into training a puppy. She loves to fetch and loves to go on walks and may even make a great running buddy! Sassafras weighs 30 pounds and most likely not get much bigger. Sassafras would love to find her loving forever home soon! She did test positive for lyme and anaplasmosis but is currently being treated for both. Sassafras has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.
