My story

This brindle beauty is Franzie! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 5/25, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Her family must have been contacted and they decided to surrender her because we do know that Franzie is house-trained and good with other dogs. She likes to try and grab the attention of everyone walking through the shelter, and once outside she LOVES to play! She will sit nicely for treats. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to commit to a young dog before adopting. Franzie is approximately 1 year old and she weighs 45 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Franzie is waiting patiently in run 25; her ID # is 10285. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
