My story

90’s kids surely remember the sitcom “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper”, about a former NBA player turned teacher and gym coach. Mr. Cooper was SO COOL and we all wished that our teachers were as funny and laid back as him. We’d love to introduce you to a sweet boy named Cooper who can’t play basketball or get hired by a school district, but he is funny and lid back and has tons of fans here in the shelter! Here’s what some of his friends have said:“Cooper is a very sweet dog. He does a good sit, makes good eye contact and is the most GENTLE treat taker EVER. He is affectionate and enjoys being petted.”“Cooper is the sweetest! He’s very easy to leash and exit his kennel. He’s a high-energy boy who does really well in the agility yard. Cooper definitely loves to play fetch and is treat-oriented. I began clicker training with him and he has responded incredibly well.”Wow- sweet, gentle, athletic, smart- Cooper is a slam dunk!
