AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ​Max Adoption Bio: Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Shep Rescue Camp) German Shepherd Experience preferred ​Rescue & Health: Max was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter because of a move/relocation. We were asked to Rescue Max out due to lack of Shelter space. Max is neutered, current on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention and he is microchipped. Behavior: Max is a very independent natured dog but wants to be close to one person that he gets acclimated to. He would make a great companion for someone that lives a solitary life style. He is not that great with other dogs but can tolerate quiet dogs that leave him alone. Max is very sweet but needs someone with German Shepherd experience. Max needs someone that will instill safety and provide a loving, forever home. Please be that one person that Max needs in his life. He didn't deserve to be dumped in a high kill shelter and now since he is in Rescue he really needs to be with that one special person that loves him and will provide him with a stable, quiet home environment. He loves to play ball and is great bringing back the ball, he is extremely polite and will drop the ball at your feet. Please give Max a Chance. An application needs to be completed prior to arranging a meet and greet. All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered. Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
