My story

“ Jackie is a walking rainbow with smiles. Whether you want to stay at home and watch sci-fi movies or hit a six mile walk, Jackie will be there right at your side, taking glimpses of you to make sure you’re not missing any of the good parts. While she is no stranger to zoomies, Jackie spends most of her time lying on her bed chewing on her toys, making her not your typical exuberant puppy. In addition to being such an easy going girl, she is adaptable. When an originally planned six mile walk turned into a seven mile walk, rather than letting her little legs get the best of her, Jackie looked up, found herself a new stick, and said bring it on. Similarly, Jackie has been multitasking her schedule by going to a vet clinic the first half of the day and returning home with her foster, something many dogs would struggle to adapt to. On top of her flexibility, another thing that makes Jackie stand out is how easy she is to redirect. If she begins to chew on something she is not supposed to, a quick and stern “Jackie, no,” seems to do the trick. As she navigates and strengthens her potty training, Jackie is beginning to unleash new tricks, such as her impressive (for her age) walking skills and going to her kennel. Lastly, Jackie is fond of people of all ages, getting along great with moody teenagers and rambunctious children. “
