Start Your Engines… and Meet Hot Rod!This 8-month-old pup is revved up and ready to roll right into your heart! Hot Rod is in that important stage of life where he’s soaking up everything like a sponge—eager to learn all the good habits and life lessons that come with being part of a real home. With his happy energy and friendly spirit, Hot Rod is built for fun and affection. But the shelter life? Not exactly his speed. It’s starting to wear on this sweet guy, and he’s more than ready to leave the pit stop and zoom off into his forever home. Because of his spirited personality, Hot Rod would need to meet any children in the home and may thrive best with older kiddos who can keep up with his playful adventures. He finds cats way too tempting to chase so he would be best in a home without cats.So what do you say—come and meet this handsome boy today! Hot Rod loves to attend playgroups at the shelter with all his doggie friends where he is the star of the show! He would love to meet any potential canine siblings! Our staff will carefully handle all dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter to ensure a great match. Feel free to bring your pup along when you come to meet Hot Rod! Hot Rod is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready for his forever home! Hot Rod is living in a foster home. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
