My story

Hello, I’m Iris! I’m a sweet, shy girl with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give once I feel comfortable. I may take a little while to warm up to new people, but don’t worry—I’m totally worth the wait. Once I trust you, I’m affectionate and love getting pets. They’re one of my favorite things! I’m a cute little bundle of love, and I’m looking for a special family who understands that I might need some time and patience to adjust to my new surroundings. I’m happiest when I feel safe and secure, and I think I’d do really well in a home with a confident dog who can show me the ropes and help me build my confidence. I just need someone to help me feel brave, and in return, I’ll give you all the love and loyalty I have in my heart. If you’re patient, understanding, and have a calm and confident dog who can be my buddy, I know we’ll make a great team. I can’t wait to find my forever home and start building a bond with you, one gentle step at a time.
