My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet the sweet and adventurous Truffles, who is ready for her forever home! This charming girl is a Texan transplant now living in the WNY area and weighs about 14 pounds. We think she’s a mix of Coton de Tulear and maybe Shih Tzu - just our best guess !   Truffles is the epitome of sweetness and love—there’s not a shy bone in her body! If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion for long walks or hikes, she’s your girl. She would also thrive with a playful dog buddy who enjoys playtime as much as she does! While she loves her walks, she might need a little help learning her leash manners. Truffles goes potty on a leash but is a bit shy about doing it in the yard in front of her foster mom. She isn’t fully housebroken yet, so she’ll need some additional training as she learns. She responds really well to positive reinforcement treats!   Truffles is an excellent car passenger, making her the perfect little co-pilot for your road trips and errands. She loves playing and wrestling with her furry friends in her foster home, and she thinks every dog is her best pal! If playmates aren’t around, Truffles will happily entertain herself with her toys or curl up for a cozy nap. And when night falls, she’ll be looking for some belly rubs before settling in for a peaceful sleep. If you have some belly rubs to share, Truffles would absolutely love to be part of your family!   Truffles will need to be groomed regularly, so please keep that in mind.    With a cute little bark and a curious personality, Truffles will surely keep you on your toes! Are you ready to welcome this little ball of joy into your heart?   We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.   Truffles is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested Neg. for heartworm.  She also received a Pro Heart 12 injection which covers her heartworm prevention for 1 year.  She has also been professionally groomed.  Her adoption fee is $500Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 4, 2025, 1:12 pm
