My story

MOJO This adorable polar bear has taken up a temporary den at the Campbell County Animal Shelter. Mojo is a handsome yellow Labrador who is in need of a new permanent iceberg. Mojo is 4 years old and weighs 70 pounds. This big lovable hunk was lost and is overjoyed to be with human and animal companions at the shelter. Mojo received a full wellness check and it was discovered he is heartworm positive. So what does that mean? Mojo is being treated with all the necessary antibiotics by the amazing shelter care takers and he is responding so well!! Sometimes dogs will experience weight loss, fatigue and coughing. So far Mojo has minimal side effects and doesn’t show one sign of not feeling well. He constantly smiles and wags his tail, typical Artic love bug. Mojo has a few more weeks of taking his antibiotics and avoiding any physical exertion. Once he has completed his treatment he will be 100% and as healthy as a great white northern bear. He will need to remain on preventative heart worm medication that is given once a month in a chewable tablet. Mojo is a typical Labrador who is welcoming of all. He would love a fenced in yard, an affectionate family who will take him on car rides, walks, hikes and feed him some treats! Come in and meet this attractive young man and be prepared to fall in love!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mojo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
