My story

Luna here. A itty bitty pity girl looking for the right home, I was adopted as a little puppy but it didn't work out as my family had a life change and couldn't give me the time I needed as a growing girl. I know how to sit and am learning to be comfortable in my kennel. I do great traveling in my crate with my foster mom and have a handful of foster dog siblings that are teaching me some things but its time for me to branch out and find a family of my own. I would do best with an adult dog to speed up my training and keep me on track, I just love being around my humans and dog friends and have spent some time with a very dog savvy cat, and kids. I am curious about everything even though I'm not super confident in situations I've not been exposed to yet but I'm sure a family with a dog and some patients can speed up that process. Got some time to steer me in the right direction? Call the shelter and talk to my foster mom.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
