How this pet arrived: Goldie was brought in by his previous owner on February 16, 2025Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Goldie - a quiet, thoughtful cat who prefers to take life at his own pace. Goldie is an independent observer, happiest when perched up high with a good view of his surroundings. He's not interested in the hustle and bustle of children or dogs-he's looking for a peaceful home where he can relax and feel safe. He's lived with other calm, respectful cats before and might be open to feline roommates who understand the art of quiet companionship. When it comes to settling in, Goldie will need an extended period of confinement in a cozy, low-traffic area of your home to help him adjust. This quiet time is key to building trust and helping him feel secure. Forced handling is a no-go-he'll let you know when he's ready for attention, and not a moment sooner. Goldie is currently on a prescription hypoallergenic diet and will need to remain on it long-term. A vet visit shortly after adoption is recommended to continue this care. He also had a past case of possible pneumonia, now resolved, and it's just part of his calm and mysterious story. If you're looking for a mellow companion who marches to the beat of his own drum, Goldie might just be your guy. Just don't forget to bring a top-loading cat carrier for his serene and stylish ride home.Shy/Fearful Cat: Goldie requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Cream Tabby Weight: 11.4375 Age: 2yrs 10mths 1wks
