My story

Meet Sable, a petite black German Shepherd weighing just 56 pounds. Though she’s a little shy at first, this sweet girl is already stealing hearts with her gentle spirit and soulful eyes. New to the shelter, Sable is still finding her footing, quietly observing the world around her. She`s beginning to warm up to kind humans and seems eager to form a deep bond with someone patient and loving. As she settles in, we’re hoping to see her playful, silly side shine through. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a tender heart and lots of love to give, Sable might just be your perfect match.This shy girl recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine.  She wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
